Organizations

The Department of Engineering Systems (DES) at Florida Tech is working closely with the local industry giants in the high-technology arena. In particular, DES has on-site master's programs in systems engineering (MSSE) at Northrop Grumman and Harris Corporation in Melbourne, Florida. At the present time, DES is conducting two rotations of MSSE at Northrop Grumman and two additional rotations at Harris. The new Harris rotation features the distance learning delivery for Harris employees in Rochester, New York.

Most of the DES main campus students in both MSEM and MSSE are from the local industry. DES continues to work with these organizations to improve the skills of their employees and to incorporate their input by way of offering new courses and programs.
