Construction Industry Advisory Board (CIAB)
The CIAB sponsored Distinguished Speaker
Seminar Series (DSSS) kicked off to a great start on August 19, 2003,
when Mr. Ben Houston, a past National President of Associated Builders
and Contractors, Inc., and the President of TD Industries, presented
a seminar entitled "Building a Business in a Rapidly Changing Environment" on
the Florida Tech campus. Among other things, TD Industries has been recognized
as a one of the top ten companies in work for in America by Fortune Magazine
since the first awards were presented in 1998. Under Mr. Houston’s
direction TD Industries has grown from 40 employees to over 1200 employees.
