Student Goals

Class

  1. Join ASCE in Freshmen year and be a productive member

  2. Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher

  3. Join Chi-Epsilon (Civil Engineering Honor Society) in Junior year (need a GPA of 3.0 or higher)

  4. Do at least 1 internship before graduation (summers after sophomore and junior years are usually best)

  5. Strive to improve written and oral communication skills

  6. Develop excellent CAD skills

  7. Take the FE exam before graduation; take it in the junior year and then again in the senior year (if needed). FE exams are given in April and October

  8. Pass the FE exam before graduation
