Student Goals at Florida Tech

1. Join ASCE in Freshmen year and be a productive member

2. Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher

3. Join Chi-Epsilon (Civil Engineering Honor Society) in Junior year (need a GPA of 3.0 or higher)

4. Strive to improve written and oral communication skills

5. Do at least 1 internship before graduation (summers after sophomore and junior years are usually best)

6. Develop excellent CAD skills

7. Take the FE exam before graduation; take it in the junior year and then again in the senior year (if needed). FE exams are given in April and October

8. Pass the FE exam before graduation
