Construction Industry Advisory Board (CIAB)
Mr. Bryan Howard, Chair, Brevard County
branch of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., presents a $5,000
check to Dr. Ashok Pandit, department head of Civil Engineering, for
Florida Tech's Construction Industry Advisory Board (CIAB) Endowment.
The CIAB has created an endowment to help students learn more about Construction
Management. Over 20 local construction companies have contributed to
raise more than $100,000. Interest received from the endowment could
be used for providing scholarships to students interested in Construction
management, for hosting construction industry related summer
camps for local middle school and high school students,
and for sponsoring a Distinguished
Speaker Seminar Series (DSSS).
